Site Clearance & Excavation: We remove your existing lawn, weeds, and topsoil to a precise depth to create a clean canvas.
Sub-Base Construction: A heavy-duty, compacted aggregate sub-base is installed to provide stability and excellent water drainage.
Weed Membrane Fitting: A geotextile membrane is laid to prevent unwanted weeds from growing up through the turf.
Sharp Sand & Screeding Level: A fine layer of sharp sand or granite dust is levelled and compacted to create a smooth, firm surface.
Turf Fitting & Seaming: We roll out your chosen high-density turf, meticulously trim the edges, and join seams with commercial-grade adhesive and joining tape.
Infill & Final Brush: Kiln-dried sand is brushed into the pile to anchor the lawn, keep the grass blades standing upright, and add natural weight.

How do I maintain my artificial grass?
While artificial grass is extremely low-maintenance, keeping it in prime condition takes minimal effort. Sweep away fallen leaves, twigs, and debris using a stiff broom or leaf blower to prevent moss growth. Occasionally brush against the pile to keep the blades standing upright and plump. Clean up food, drinks, or pet waste by rinsing the area with water and a mild, pet-safe detergent if necessary.
Is artificial grass safe for pets?
Yes, absolutely! Our pet-friendly turf allows liquid to drain naturally through the porous backing. Any mess can easily be picked up and rinsed off with a hose and mild soap.
Will weeds grow through the artificial lawn?
We install a heavy-duty, commercial-grade geotextile weed membrane directly beneath the turf to stop weeds from pushing through from underneath. Very occasionally, airborne seeds may settle on top of the turf blades, but these can be easily brushed away or removed before they take root.
What happens when it rains heavily?
Soils can sometimes retain water, but our artificial turf solutions are designed for excellent drainage. The grass backing features small perforation holes, and our sub-base layer uses compacted aggregate to allow rainwater to filter smoothly into the ground—preventing puddles and waterlogging even during heavy downpours.
Can artificial grass be laid over existing decking or paving?
Yes! If your existing patio or timber decking is solid, level, and structurally sound, we can install a special underlay and lay synthetic turf directly over it for a quick garden refresh.
